Class Photos
I thought we could do better…
For ages, the class photo for the annual Summer Seminar at the American Numismatic Society was a fairly dreary, formal affair. Usually, the class lined up on the steps of the building, hands clenched in front, looking tense. I wanted to do something different. The class was a seminal, fun time in most students lives and I wanted the photo to reflect that.
I started experimenting with different locations around the city, then, different themes, inviting the students to collaborate, bringing their own ideas to the shoot.
